Comments: I highly recommend Best Oral Board Prep and Dr. Rothenberg if you’re in an unfortunate situation of needing to retake this exam. This exam is not only about knowledge but there are also some nuances to the exam that may not be apparent. Dr. Rothenberg is the only person who can help you understand and work with you to figure out where you may be having problems. Save yourself thousands of dollars and do not waste your time with other courses and their gimmicks and so-called strategies to help you pass the exam (trust me, I did and it was awful!).
If you want someone who actually cares and will not make you do any extra unnecessary work, then you should go with Dr. Rothenberg. As a matter of fact, I actually did less practice for the orals the second time round than the first time round and I had much better results. Dr. Rothenberg is 100% flexible with your schedule and reliable. I was finishing my fellowship training, moving for a new job, starting a new job while in the middle of having to retake the exam.
I would have saved myself thousands of dollars, and a second trip to North Carolina if I had known about Dr. Rothenberg from the beginning!
